Our Team
Akheema Miller, Founder & Executive Director
Akheema Miller is the visionary behind Gracefully Guided, bringing over five years of experience in behavioral health and a passion for supporting women and girls through life’s challenges. Currently completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Akheema combines professional expertise with personal resilience to create programs rooted in compassion, empowerment, and growth. Inspired by her late grandfather, Thomas Smith “GG,” she is committed to walking alongside others with grace, strength, and purpose.
Carmen Warren, Program Development Coordinator
Carmen Warren brings a strong background in biology, health science, and business management to her role as Program Development Coordinator at Gracefully Guided. With a passion for wellness and innovation, Carmen works alongside the team to design and strengthen programs that are both impactful and sustainable. Her expertise allows her to merge scientific insight with practical strategies, ensuring that each initiative is grounded in evidence while remaining accessible and empowering for the women and girls we serve.
Arnitia Turner, Board Secretary
Arnitia Turner is a dedicated mother of three and a passionate advocate for children and families. With a background in early childhood education and her work as a paraprofessional, Arnitia brings a wealth of experience in nurturing growth, learning, and resilience. Her commitment to service and community shines through in her role as Board Secretary, where she helps guide Gracefully Guided’s mission with care and dedication.
Staisha Powell, Board Treasurer
Staisha Powell is completing her Master’s degree to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and is deeply passionate about advocating for mental health. With several years of experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Staisha brings strong skills in data, accountability, and client-centered care. As Treasurer of Gracefully Guided, she combines her professional expertise with her commitment to mental health advocacy to ensure the organization thrives both financially and missionally.
